Mark of the Z was founded in 1984 by Mark and Debra Zimmer (Corrigan) of Newaygo County. They have been slowly growing the business along with their family ever since, and are proud to continue to excel in providing quality HVAC service for the community.
Due to their commitment over the years, Mark of the Z has won countless awards for their services and standards. Their growth has increased steadily, and in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 they were the “Top Performer” of American Standard Dealer in the State of Michigan. Now, as a fully licensed and insured company, Mark of the Z is proud to hold licenses in Michigan, Ohio, and West Virginia.

Mark and Debra have spent the last four decades building their business based on family and hard work. While they are on their way into retirement, they are pleased to have surrounded themselves with a great team of people to cover their fantastic customer base.
Meet Cole Zimmer
Director of Boiler and Hydronic Contracting
Cole attended Ferris State University where he received his Degree in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration Engineering Technology and Energy Management. Cole holds one of the Boiler Licenses for the company. Cole has always enjoyed Boiler Projects the most, so naturally he excels as the Project Leader for the Boiler side of our company. Cole lays out small projects for homes all the way to large and complex projects for Commercial Applications.
Meet Kamden Vawter
Kamden is the oldest grandson and is a third generation team member of Mark of the Z.
